Mahabaleshwar is a hill station in India's forested Western Ghats range, south of Mumbai. If you are planning a trip to Mahabaleshwar, make sure that you have packed your hiking boots. The place is choke full of things to see. The Mahabaleswar Temple is a major pilgrimage site of the Hindus. Panchgani is quite nearby and it is quite a popular tourist spot. One of the major tourist attractions of Mahabaleshwar is the Venna Lake. The beautiful lake is surrounded by trees on its bank.
