Khandala is a hill station in the Western Ghat mountains of Maharashtra. It's home to vantage spots incuding Sunset Point and Rajmachi Point, with views of Rajmachi fort.

Monsoon season is the best season for a visit to Khandala, owing to the site being in  full bloom during the said season. The months when Khandala is ideal for a trip for October - March. The pleasant climate of this place is such that even the winters and summers are nice for a visit.

  • There are two major airports near to this hill station. They are Chatrapati Shivaji airport and Lohegaon airport. They are 64 km and 54 km away respectively.   • Lonavala has its own railway station. Major trains of southern India makes a stop at this place.
  • Lonavala is completely connected by motorable roads with all the major southern cities of India. National highway is making this place easily accessible. Public and private buses and hired cars are available at Pune and Mumbai to take the tourists at this place on regular basis.
