Devikulam is a southern India hill station situated beside the lake by the same name within a distance of 5 km from another famous hilly township Munnar. This has a history in the ancient Ramayana where it has been depicted that Goddess Sita took bath at DevikulamLake. The town is small hamlet of Indian state Kerala under the Idukki district. This town is situated at an elevation of 1800 metre from sea level on the Western Ghat Mountains. The velvety coverage of the green plants and the view of the lusty mountains are exotic in nature which is drawing a huge chunk of nature loving tourists at this mountain station. There is a lake named SitaLake which offers picnic facility on its side and trout fishing also.
