  • There are no prior medical fitness is mandatory for the flight. Though not everyone is fit for the ride in hot air balloons.  Pregnant women and individuals with high blood pressure must avoid the ride.
  • Avoid ballooning on a turbulent day. Choose winter days for the trip.
  • The flight is organised during the month of September to March. The area stays too hot during the summer time. The temperature is unbearable at that time.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes. If possible carry a moisturiser. The area is very dry and cool all year around during the morning time.
  • Young children tends to get tired easily. So, think before you take your little children. Children under the age 5 should not take this journey.
  • Always keep all your body parts inside the basket during the flight.
  • Follow the rules of climbing the hot-air balloon.
  • Stay at the right place during the trip. Do not hang around in the basket. It may trip.
  • Follow the words of the pilot in command.
  • Cover your face and all the body parts during the ride to avoid the dry wind.
  • Carry thermals to beat the chilling weather.
  • Ground wind velocity must be under 8 miles per hour. Anything more than that should be avoided.
  • If possible consider booking the morning flights. Evening flights get cancelled most of the time due to low light.

To reach Ranthambhore, one must come via Jaipur airport which is at a distance of 180 km.
  • Jaipur has the major railhead in this state named as the same. Indian railway is connecting this city with other metro cities of India on daily basis. Palace on wheels, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels make the stop at this station also. Udaipur is completely connected by trains with other major cities of India. Ranthambhore is connected via SwaiMadhopur railway station. Many trains of Indian Railway delivers passengers here.
