The Abandoned capital of ancient Gujarat, Pavagadh is a renowned site for the residents around the state. This hill station of western Gujarat state of India is a world heritage site engraved by UNESCO in the year 2004. The scenic beauty from the top of the hill is drawing a large chunk of tourists from various part of the countries and world. The hill is famous among the trekking lovers also. There are no other outdoor activities available in the vicinity due to the rural setting surrounding the region.

Getting Around

The best way to explore the area is by foot. The hilly region does not provide any facilities to reach to the top. Buses, taxis are available on the foot of the hill. But the best is to hire a car for the day.
